Mark Moersen

As co-founder, CEO and president of Optimas, Mark is responsible for all aspects of the company’s business, including vision, strategy, growth, financial performance and adherence to our values. He also serves as chairman of the company’s board of managers.

After obtaining his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech Mark joined Schlumberger as a field engineer working on offshore drilling rigs. He moved to Reed Tool Company and held various technical and sales management positions there, including Vice President of Sales and Service for the global oil service provider.

Vice President and General Manager

Maarten Van Bommel

Maarten is a Vice President of the Company and serves as the General Manager for the Energy Services division and the European Powersports business. As GM, he is responsible for all sales, marketing, distribution, engineering, manufacturing and sourcing. His technical background is a valuable resource in all aspects of engineering design, forensic engineering and manufacturing across all sectors of Optimas business.

Maarten earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Open University in Heerlen and a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology in addition to being a qualified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. He worked for ABB, Philips Lighting Automotive, Doco-International in Europe and Asia and held management positions in Engineering, Project Management, R&D, Supply Chain and Operations before joining Optimas.

Vice President and General Manager

Jeff Scace

Jeff is a Vice President of the Company and serves as the General Manager for the Powersports division. He is responsible for all sales, marketing programs, brand management, and corporate sponsorships. Prior to joining Optimas, he worked in the Defense Industry as a business owner and process improvement consultant in support of Special Operations Command.

In 2001, Jeff graduated from the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center, earning the coveted “Green Beret”. He was awarded multiple awards for distinction in combat including awards for valorous service. Jeff is also trained in Lean Six Sigma and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Jeff earned his Bachelor of Science Degree, Summa Cum Laude, and his Masters of Business Administration Degree from Norwich University.

Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Ron Stefani

Ron is a Vice President of the Company and Chief Financial Officer. He has been with the Company for over four years and has 30 years of international experience working for Fortune 500 and small private companies.

Throughout his career, Ron has helped companies increase their market value. He has led initiatives that increased cash flow through working capital and long-term capital management programs.  He has helped companies conduct proper due diligence of acquisition targets which included developing valuation models and audit programs.

Ron earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University and his Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Georgia. He is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant and a Chartered Global Management Accountant.

Nicholas White

Nicholas is a co-founding partner of Optimas and has responsibility for global manufacturing and research and development. Nicholas is also responsible for the design and implementation of the Company’s quality procedures, Lean Six Sigma programs and training. The company is consistently recognized for its excellent quality, on-time delivery and cost savings programs.

Prior to starting his own company in 1994, Nicholas was a General Manager for Morrison Supermarkets in the UK and a Vice President for Sierra Financial in New York City. He holds two patents in engineering water process systems.
